sous la protection de l&rsquo;humanit\u00e9 tout enti\u00e8re. C&rsquo;est pourquoi ils sont inscrits sur la liste du patrimoine mondial de l&rsquo;UNESCO.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La Forteresse de Bellinzone, qui regroupe les trois ch\u00e2teaux de Castel Grande, Montebello et Sasso Corbaro, ainsi que la muraille et les remparts de la ville, est l&rsquo;un des sites historiques et architecturaux les plus importants de Suisse. Reconnue d&rsquo;importance internationale, sa valeur unique et exceptionnelle a \u00e9t\u00e9 attest\u00e9e par l&rsquo;inscription du site sur la liste du patrimoine mondial de l&rsquo;UNESCO en 2000 :<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Les fortifications de Bellinzone, situ\u00e9es dans le canton du Tessin, en Suisse italienne, au sud des Alpes, sont le seul exemple visible dans les Alpes d&rsquo;une architecture militaire m\u00e9di\u00e9vale compos\u00e9e de plusieurs ch\u00e2teaux reli\u00e9s par des murs fortifi\u00e9s pour prot\u00e9ger la population. Les murailles bloquaient toute la vall\u00e9e du Tessin et les bastions encerclaient la ville.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Bellinzone est donc un cas unique parmi les imposantes fortifications du XVe si\u00e8cle, tant par sa taille, influenc\u00e9e par le site et sa topographie, que par l&rsquo;excellent \u00e9tat de conservation de l&rsquo;ensemble. L&rsquo;origine de Bellinzone est li\u00e9e \u00e0 la position strat\u00e9gique du site qui, avec la vall\u00e9e du Tessin, contr\u00f4le l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s aux principaux cols alpins permettant de passer du Milanais, c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire toute l&rsquo;Italie du Nord, aux r\u00e9gions plus au nord, jusqu&rsquo;au Danube et au-del\u00e0. Le patrimoine culturel et naturel est en effet soumis \u00e0 des d\u00e9gradations naturelles spontan\u00e9es ou \u00e0 des alt\u00e9rations ou destructions provoqu\u00e9es par l&rsquo;homme. La d\u00e9gradation ou la disparition d&rsquo;un bien du patrimoine mondial signifie la perte d&rsquo;un t\u00e9moignage exceptionnel (et donc unique) et universel (c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire important pour tous les peuples du monde). La Convention d\u00e9finit les types de sites naturels ou culturels qui peuvent \u00eatre inscrits sur la Liste du patrimoine mondial et les devoirs des \u00c9tats membres pour identifier les sites potentiels, ainsi que leur r\u00f4le dans la protection et la sauvegarde des sites. Ces \u00c9tats s&rsquo;engagent \u00e0 enregistrer, prot\u00e9ger et conserver le patrimoine mondial situ\u00e9 sur leur territoire. et en m\u00eame temps, assurent la coop\u00e9ration internationale et l&rsquo;assistance mutuelle pour remplir ces t\u00e2ches.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La Convention du patrimoine mondial s&rsquo;est impos\u00e9e au point de devenir un instrument juridique reconnu par la quasi-totalit\u00e9 de la communaut\u00e9 internationale.
