Swiss Press Photo 24 – The best Swiss press photos of 2023

The photographs cast a glance beyond the clamour of current events and reveal the whole of 2023. The exhibition, divided into six sections, features about 150 images by Swiss photographers: Current Affairs, Everyday Life, Swiss Stories, Portraits, Sport and Foreign Affairs. The exhibition not only invites reflection, but makes us smile.

What themes held sway in 2023? Do we remember any of them? Which images do we retain? The Reinhardt von Graffenried Foundation’s ‘Swiss Press Photo 24’ exhibition gives us a chance to look back on the events of 2023 and invites us to recall these events through the best Swiss press photographs of the past year.

The Foundation promotes reporting and press photography both in print and electronic media in Switzerland. It does not pursue any commercial interests and is independent from any publishers.

The Foundation’s central aim and activity are promoting, supporting, and encouraging press photography in Switzerland.

The exhibition is travelling throughout Switzerland making stops in Zürich, Bern, Prangins, and Bellinzona.
